Can you believe how fast this summer has gone by? I move out of the house in exactly two weeks and I can’t even grasp it.
If you know me at all, you know I am all about simplicity. Looking clean and polished is my thing and there’s nothing I love more than a great, simple swimsuit that makes you feel comfortable and confident. We all have insecurities, so in my opinion it’s best to throw on a bikini with a great silhouette. I always tend to gravitate towards black in everything I wear because it’s like my safety net. Black is slimming, sleek, and you always look put together in it. Wearing a black bikini makes me feel great because it doesn’t draw too much attention and I personally love the contrast with my blonde hair. There are a few things you can do to play up a plain bikini; I personally love Y-chain necklaces or body chains. Please DO NOT wear jewelry in any kind of water, it’ll tarnish!
To layer over your swimsuit, I also suggest something basic. I threw on this really light fabric romper. It’s the best swimsuit cover up! Another thing – I strongly urge you to not spend a lot of money on swimsuit cover ups. They get beaten up! I’ll take mine on the boat, lay in the sand, or even get wet in them. If you’re going to splurge, do it on the swimsuit! Not on the thing you’ll be covering it with!
